What a weekend for Arbroath Pool. We had the highest number of entries for the SPA Malky Cowan competition, giving us the biggest representation at a national finals!

By jings did they shine through! Some great performances throughout from our guys who made it, BUT; what an effort from the finalists!

That’s right, both players from our area!!! 👏

Well done to both Steve Hamilton and Paddy Nicoll who put together a great run to bump into each other at the last hurdle.

Team mates locally made this one a bit more sentimental for a few. Both players put on a great showing, but Steve pushed through to secure himself the national title.

Very unlucky to Paddy. He’ll be back there or thereabouts in upcoming tournaments that’s for sure.
